Crap! We ARE those sorts of parents

Never in my wildest dreams would I think we'd be the parents of "that kid" - the one that taught the other kids the bad words.
Ok, I figured it might happen - maybe - but certainly not so soon. And definitely not from Abigail (sorry Elliott -- if you read this years from now KNOW that I love you dearly and you aren't bad a child, but you have a level of mischievousness that makes you "prone" to doing such things -- its just a fact). Apparently we are such parents, and our kids are "those kids".
Today Sonya got a call from another "concerned" parent in Abigail's class, who informed Sonya that Abigail had told her daughter that their last name had a bad word in it. The girl had no idea what that word was - so Abigail told her.
I imagine it went something like this :
"Your last name has 'ass' in it, and that's a bad word for 'butt'".A few days ago Abigail asked out of the blue what "ass" meant, so Sonya told her nonchalantly what is meant - a crude, rude word for someone's butt (a word that she isn't to say). I can only guess that Abigail believed she needed to inform her friend of the dire situation in which her last name presented (saying her last name, would then cause on to inadvertantly being saying a bad word) - the world had to be warned and prepared. I guess the poor girl did not find it helpful. I find it funny, which is probably the root of the problem.
