Oh the toil an old diaper can bring

Little boys are trouble makers. Its true. Like puppies, you can't leave them alone for a moment withouth them finding something seemingly harmless to destory. Case in point:
Aside from Elliott's penchant for drawing on his walls, he also likes to find his old Pull-Ups and wear them and pretend to be a baby. (About 2 weeks ago Elliott finally kicked the habit of wetting in bed at night, and now no longer needs a Pull-Up in the evening.) We neglected to remove all his spares from his closet and yesterday while I worked and Sonya made dinner Elliott went into pretend mode. In previous pretend states Elliott and Abigail both wear the Pull Ups and walk around going "Waaaaaah!", or "GooGoo Baby", or "Glub glub glub" or some such nonsense. Down comes Elliott downstairs to show us what he's done ... apparently filled the Pull-Up full of water, as it sagged to the floor. No big deal - funny actually.
I hear a few thuds. Some scurring and tumbling and laughing. 5 minutes go by and we hear Abigail do her "Uh oh. ELLIOTT NO!!!" which usually is never something good.
Sonya goes upstairs (I'm still working) and Abigail comes into my office. "Daddy, you NEED to see what Elliott did". I'm like, "Sure, whatever" (it can't be too bad).
I was so wrong.
The thudding I had heard was Elliott whipping that diaper around his room, the hallway, the stairwell where it had ruptured, spewing forth its slimmy, super absorbent sodium polyacrylate. On the walls, on the carpet, everywhere you look there is this white slimmy goo dripping and oozing.
An hour later Elliott was in his room and I had to take a time out to cool off.
Today though, its sorta funny ...
