There's a verse in Colossians 3 (Colossians 3:21 to be exact) that talks about not exasperating your children, well I think last night we did just that -- but it was so funny.
So, we're all playing "Go Fish" at the kitchen table. The kids mostly get it -- Abigail for sure, Elliott not so much. So, that night Elliott really just wanted 10s. He had no 10s, but that didn't prevent him from always asking for them. I tried to help him ("Hey Elliott, how about you ask mommy for some Jacks"; "Mommy .... um ... do you have any .... 10s?") to no avail. It was pretty funny. So I decided to record some of the family fun, and here's what we got:
