Refreshed and ready to refresh some more

Why is that after a short, energic, lively and altogether great "vacation" (albeit short) that you need another vacation to transition back into the "real" world? The entire Armstrong Circus took their show on the road this past weekend to the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennesee (Pigeon Forge) with our a few church folks (55 to be exact) and retreated to a great lodge nestled on the side of a hill. Not only did we get to spend time with great people - laughing, drinking and eating; but also recharged after these past few weeks. My absolute favorite time was going to a go-kart track with 13 guys (all piled into one truck) and acting like overgrown children. I haven't laughed so much in a LONG time (and my leg hurts because my brilliant -- unconscious -- reasoning that the harder I push on the pedal, the faster I might go). After the trip Sonya and I both felt blessed to have such a church, and so many down-to-earth, imperfect, caring, loving and fun people. But enough about that, I missed my Friday Eff-It day!
