Christmas Recap: S1E1

- What we learned
- The seagulls outside of Italy are too friendly
- People that use strollers as bulldozers should be arrested.
- Riding in a limo to the airport is much better than riding in a bus (thank you Saratoga Springs for the upgrade!)
- Riding in first class is much better than riding coach (thank you Delta for the upgrade!)
- Mickey is after your wife.
- Stated by Elliott (while waiting for dinner in the United Kingdom): "Auwar doz wed tewophone boofs? I haven't seen one in wike, fowty yeaws!"
- Christmas at Walt Disney World is busy. Very busy. Too busy.
- Kids with sensory disabilities can in fact survive WDW, but within moderation. We had to give the kids afternoons off to just "decompress" after taking in the assault of smells, sounds, textures, atmosphere changes (inside/outside, light/dark, warm/cold).
- Magic Kingdom is not built for crowds (and thus we never had the chance to go with the kids -- we thought it would overload them)
- It rains quite often in Florida.
- WDW has the most incredible transportation system in the world. Buses, boats, monorails too and from the airport, from theme park to theme park, from resort/hotel to theme park. We waited no longer than 20 minutes for any bus, they were never over crowded and never late. Amazing for the amount of people constantly coming and going.
- The Land has the best healthy food.
- Stated by Elliott (while outside at a shop near the Indian Jones Stunt Show), "No won will want to be my fweind now cuz I'm a shooter"
- What we don't know
- Will we ever return for the holidays at WDW?
- Who has more fun, the kids or the adults?
- Will that pirate ever catch the wench?
- Which park is better (I will always stand fast by Epcot, though Animal Kingdom could occupy several days)
- Is is possible to see everything that WDW has to offer in one "vacation"?
