Recap: Heroes (S1E14)

CHAPTER 14: DISTRACTIONS
- What we know
- The psychiatrist was being a bit to haughty in wanting to talk with Jessica, and got what she asked for -- and then was tasered to death (or was she dead?). Nikki was horrified and did the 'ol -- TOLD YA SO!
- Lesson 101 for Peter. Mr. Invisible tries to tell Peter that the only reason he's unable to recall his powers and use them whenever he wants is that he's too attached to people (did he say he watches people in their homes? Creepy). They watch Simone to prove the point and see her --- gasp -- hug her ex-boyfriend. Peter then is pushed to his death 30 stories below; but he's able to regenerate by remembering Claire. In your face Mr. Invisible! (Peter is just an idiot being played)
- Claire and Zach fake a trip to visit some manitee's (which is a code name for Claire's mom -- you hear that, we're using code names). Blah blah blah -- they get there, they share, they bond, they show their freak talents
- Issac is painting insane amounts of work, but all blank of anyone in them. He wants to find Peter and stop him. He calls Mr. Bennett (uh oh) and says that Peter might be invisible.
- Sylar escapes his cell, has the chance to kill Bennett put doesn't (what the? he kills everyone! but decides ... nay. Stupid villains and their monologuing). Sylar then enters the Bennett house and tricks Claire's idiot fake mom into letting him stay for dinner -- even after he obsesses over Claire (Claire this, Claire that -- she's an idiot to let random guy stay in her house, lust over her teenage daughter and then invite him for dinner? I guess he doesn't need Eve's persuasion power after all). But he goes total psycho, knocks the mom out and BAM! Mr. Bennett comes in guns a-blazin'. Sylar of course escapes. Again.
- Hiro's dad just wants him to come back to work (how anti-climatic is that?) and take over the family business. Hiro's sister Kimiko is really the one that will work. Ando has a crush on her. I was hoping Hiro's sister would reveal a power as she left, but no such luck -- really a wasted storyline
- Meanwhile in prison, Nikki is let go by Linderman's people. She's not pleased. Jessica then decides to imprison Nikki.
- AND the moment we've all been waiting for --- Claire's dad is --- NATHAN. Yeah, I called it. I'm not surprised. You can tell by the hairy arms and bling on the wrist.
- What we don't know
- What happened in that "fire" with Claire and her mom (was her mom not used to her power and set the house on fire?). Was Nathan there?
- What was the point of Hiro's father? There has to be more to it than merely him just wanting to come back for his son (why the ropes and guns?)
- What's the significance of Jessica's tattoo? What exactly is her power besides some strength? The power to make you insane?
- Why won't Nathan fly? Seriously. If I could fly, I'd be all up in it all the time.
- What is Mr. Bennett's first name? I'm hoping its Ruprecht.
- Is the psychiatrist dead? Is she working for Linderman? Was it all a ploy to get Jessica out (and stay out)?
- Is Mr. Invisible good or bad? We know that Ruprecht thought he was dead, so he's not entirely evil; maybe just angry. Who else has he taught? NEXT WEEK : Something happens with Matt. Mohinder is toast (finally). Peter is having his Luke/Yoda moment. "No one is safe".
