Recap: Heroes (S1E16)

Chapter 16: Unexpected
What We Learned:
- Someone flies. Someone dies. And this was all very true.
- Mohinder and the "Zane"rator travel to Montana to find a hero named Dale; who happens to be a woman. Dale can hear things. Many things. She hears "Zane"rators heart beating loudly, and is visibly nervous (as she should be). Mohinder though is dense and unable to put 2 and 2 together when they revisit Dale in the morning to find her dead and Zane avoiding all sounds -- Mohinder must have inherited his science degree because he sure isn't smart.
- Blah blah blah. Hiro and Ando get out of their trouble and Hiro actually reverses time as he saves them both from a bullet. Hiro send Ando back home and proceeds on his mission to get the sword of destiny. Blah blah blah.
- Peter and Claude continue their training (this time with a big stick) to make Peter recall his embedded powers. It seems Peter's quick brush with Sylar has paid dividends, as he's able to stop the stick in middle air with his mind. Then Bennet and the Haitian appear, shoot Claude with a stun gun and try to hit Peter too, but he stops time, grabs Claude and flies away -- in one of the more spectacular scenes of resent episodes. Peter and Claude figure out that Issac ratted on them (if it were Mohinder instead of Claude they'd still be on the floor looking at the pigeons). Claude leaves for fear of his life (after a previous run in with Bennet) and Peter confronts Issac -- who attempts to shoot an invisible Peter and instead kills Simone. Someone flies. Someone dies.
- Matt continues to allow life to complicate itself, stealing diamonds, giving a ring to his wife and then meeting Wireless Internet Girl (I bet she hangs out at Starbucks) and Radiation Boy to concot a half-assed plan to get Bennett. But they actually manage to get into his house and get him without the Haitian.
- Claire finds her mom coherent and then incoherent and then fallen on the ground with Mr Muggles licking up the spilt milk. Of course her dad is to blame (and the doctors firm with a diagnosis of extreme trauma to the memory portion of the brain). Claire freaks out on her dad and he tells her he's only trying to protect her -- which I actually believe.
- Will Wireless and Radiation Boy be good or bad? Is Matt yet again making a stupid decision?
- Can you trust Peter? He seems to be getting more and more angry -- now with Simone dead and Issac trying to kill and Claude running out on him, I can see why he might blow everything up
- Are LOST and Heroe's connected (anyone else catch Nathan saying "l'd round us all up, stick us in a lab on some island in the middle of the ocean". I laughed, good nod to the "theories" of them being connected
- Where will Claire go; because it seems clear she's going to get away from home
- Will Mohinder ever get a clue, or will Sylar just kill him off?
- How exactly is Sylar so quickly and easily getting people's powers? Does he actually have a power (to understand how things work in the body?)
