Giving from the heart

After getting Abigail to bed last night I went downstairs, had a Guiness and watched some basketball (it is March Madness afterall). At one point I came back upstairs and walked into my office and saw something sitting on my desk. There sat Totoro, with a note taped to him.

Totoro was a gift from my sister to Abigail this past Christmas, and she loves him. Every now and then I like to hold him, I think because he reminds me of a stuffed animal owl I had as a little boy. I guess she noticed and decided to give him to me. Sometimes it's hard to believe she's just 7. Needless to say, it brought me a few tears (of joy).
