The Penguins are Psychotic

Yesterday, the Armstrong clan and Abigail's good friend, Amelia, went to the Newport Aquarium and enjoyed pizza (which we waited a looooong time for) at Dewey's Pizza in honor of Abigail's birthday. It's crazy that the snow was coming down on April 6th; that was a first in the years of celebrating Abigail's birthday, but it was pretty. Everyone enjoyed the Emperor and other sorts of penguins in the final exhibit before leaving the aquarium; Elliott even picked a stuffed one out as a gift from Grandmommy and Granddaddy. Of course Abigail got a stuffed Great White Shark and Amelia got a dolphin. As a little treat on the half hour ride to the amusements and back, we let the kids watch Madagascar. Apparently Elliott really likes the quote from Ben Stiller's character, Alex the lion when he says, "Don't listen to the penguins; the penguins are psychotic!" Later in the evening Elliott said that out of the blue and added, "psychotic is Spanish for 'bad'. I deemed that the quote of the day, it may even be the quote of the week.
