Reason #239 why we shouldn't listen to celebrities

Let's forget the Alec Baldwin incident or the crazy words of Tom Cruise and John Travolta and focus on what people write. Writing, as opposed to speaking, is more calculated and planned. Writing on a blog, well, you can change what you said whenever you want, instant edit, but with all that; "celebrities" sitll say stupid things. Take Cheryl Crow for instance, she just recently wrote this:
Although my ideas are in the earliest stages of development, they are, in my mind, worth investigating. One of my favorites is in the area of conserving trees which we heavily rely on for oxygen. I propose a limitation be put on how many sqares of toilet paper can be used in any one sitting. Now, I don't want to rob any law-abiding American of his or her God-given rights, but I think we are an industrious enough people that we can make it work with only one square per restroom visit, except, of course, on those pesky occasions where 2 to 3 could be required. (via)Forget global warming, we'd have pollution out the ass (pun intended).
