Friday Distractions: Asleep at the Wheel Edition

I'm tired from staying up way too late seeing a so-so movie, so let's get right to it so I can go to bed.
- Top 25 Web Hoaxes from Yahoo and PC World. Good stuff, most of which I remember pretty well (and never fell for). My favorite is the New Orleans mob tourist kidney harvesting ring
- The Hoff is a drunken fool. The full video can be seen here
- EW's The Sci-Fi 25 (the best Sci-Fi TV and Movies of the last 25 years) is an astonishingly good list. I don't think of all of them as "sci fi", with aliens and space ships and such (like Star Trek), but I've seen everything their list -- which more than likely makes me a nerd. I don't think The Matrix ought to be #1, well, maybe the first one (Blade Runner, for me, takes the top spot); and I would have liked to have seen Gattaca make the list. The best part -- the new Battlestar Galactica is #2. Sweet.
- Wardrobe malfunction. Poor kid
- This might be the best cellphone service ever made --- EVER. The popularity dialer. When you're in an awkward situation, boring moment, in need of escape; just schedule a time via the website, when your phone rings you'll get a prerecorded one half of a conversation (so that you will be "interacting" with the call and seeming less "fake). That just rocks. (via)
- Annie Leibovitz is the greatest living American photographer -- and this piece is stunning
- Moo & Oink, the new mini-mall
- Winnebago Man seems really angry. (Jack Rebney of Winnebago Industries circa 1988 --- NSFW, language)
