Friday Distractions: Extended Remix Super Platnium Edition

by Paul Armstrong
- Chronic Flatulence is a serious problem. No, it really is. Don't laugh. Stop laughing.
- Hilarious interview with Michael Emerson (aka. Ben Linus) from Best Week Ever (or BWE for those of us in the know -- which is the greatest entertainment commentary show ever)
- Great and funny montage of mishead lyrics: Pearl Jam: Yellow Ledbettter, The Clash: Rock the Casbah, Nirvana: Smells Like Teen Spirit
- Why would anyone ever ride something called The Vomitron?
- The air car. Its not exactly what you think. Its means driven by air; not flying. Suck, I wanna fly!
- Depending on where you come from; a very interesting insight into religion in America (a book "What Every American Needs to Know -- and Doesn't" By Stephen Prothero
- Series of "Bad MLS Photos" of the day -- these are pretty classic
- The most heart wrenching, beautiful and powerful photojournalism photos I've ever seen -- of a mother with her dying (from cancer) son (if you're not in tears by the end; you have no feelings); winner of the 2007 Pulitzer Prize For Photography.
- Pretty funny little stop-motion film called Skidmarks 3: Burnin' AssPhalt"
- Wanna send Text Messages via iChat (or AIM); give this little tutorial a try
- Silent Star Wars -- the only true way in which to experience the Star Wars saga.

Man, you ruined my yesterday with link to the pulitzer prize for photography, although, very very inspiring too. What a lady. Humans are really amazing, we are built to adapt so well and to be able to cope with so much. We have no clue of our own potential. We often think that we just can't go on, I've had so many of those times... and yet, we do go on.
God knew what he was doing when he created people.
