The lull before the drive

Since Saturday we've been staying with our friends the Worley's of Wilmington North Carolina. Its a nice wind down and quiet place for us and the kids before we're all thrown back to the same old same old. Its our "vacation" after the vacation, and it seems to work. It's somewhat like I'd imagine "limbo" to be -- neither the whole of one thing or another. The kids have enjoyed relaxing a bit, making friends with Loretta, going down to Kure Beach and seeing Luke and Sarah. It's time to pack things up, prepare some sandwiches and hit the road. Happy Fathers Day to all you fathers (my father in particular).
