The Case of the Tuesdays (Part XXI)

Twenty two -- 22! -- "episodes" into this weekly distraction thing I call The Case of the Tuesdays (because I'm too lazy to be bothered by anything on Monday), I'm perpetually late on posting anything on any schedule; thus is life. Right now I have 2 full time jobs; one where I get paid (very sporadically and in small quantities) and another moving sprinklers all about our backyard to make sure the new sod doesn't die. It's a real hoot.

- The Darjeeling Limited trailer is now online. Seems reminiscent of Royal Tenenbaums -- best part "He said the train is lost; How can it be lost, it's on rails?"
- Date of Birth -- trivial but interesting facts from your date of birth (I'm 12,837 days old)
- 12 Hilarious tombstones
- This made me laugh
- Chillmasterflex -- relax by the fire; on your laptop (oh yeah)
- 24 Bizarre (and creepy) deep sea "creatures"
- Beautifully animated short -- Solar
- Online Coupon Codes a plenty
- Ten Most Annoying Alarm Clocks
- If you have a lot of spare time, and are a speed reader, here's a list of 1001 Books To Read Before You Die (I haven't heard of about 80% of them; either I'm uncultured or they're just picking books at random)
- Lost America -- Urban Exploration -- couldn't the entire city of Detroit be in this?
- Every ACME product used on Bugs Bunny

Who did your landscaping? I need to have some done this fall. Looks like they did a nice job. How were they price wise?

Hey Jared! Long time no see/hear (I miss you and Jason; how are you?)
We used Mike Ward Landscaping (and the sod was from Eastgate Sod, which are the same company). Price wise, it was very reasonable; they graded the yard a bit, added soil, fixed the piping, removed debris, cut down dead trees, soded the whole backyard and soded where they and run their bobcat (and fixed a sink hole in the front yard); all for under $5k. Not to bad. And all the workers were super nice and on time. Took them 3 days. That's it.
