Distractions: Taking A Drink From the Gravy Pipe

- Miss Teen South Carolina attempts to redeem herself and make us feel stupid (too bad its obvious she's reading a cue card for the answers -- and for some reason I had the desire to say "your ass" after every question)
- The ocean turns into a frothy cup of cappuccino -- truly bizarre.
- Happy Easter -- so so wrong.
- How the U.S. hide their military Lockheed airport factory during World War II, brilliant (via)
- I can't believe this was ever an actual game -- Ball Buster
- I promise that taking taekwondo hasn't turned me into this guy
- The Microsoft ZunePhone
- Short film Cashback by Sean Ellis (sorry about the subtitles), which is in works to become a full length feature film (via)
- Move David Blaine, here comes Derren Brown -- convincing SImon Pegg that he wants something he doesn't want, listen carefully and see if you have an urge or a thought for the same thing. More for Derren Brown: Here he is paying for stuff with blank paper, Beating 9 Master chess players at once, playing Russian Roulette, At the dog track, train of thought
- Very interesting experiment -- difficult, keep your eyes open.

Typo, I think. The link to Miss Teen South Carolina video actually goes to the ball buster video.

Thanks; it never fails -- I get a wrong paste job every time ... crap. It's fixed now.

Whoa; doesn't look like the landing for that guy doing a side kick is going to be very pretty.

Interesting NLP stuff. One of my friends looked at that stuff concerning dating relationships. What's funny is they show how the setting and his word choice influenced the guy but didn't mention how important the touching is (very, apparently). Now I think I'll look at BMX bikes.... or was that a red BMW?

Yeah, the touching they didn't mention; but they showed how he touched every time he said "b" or "m" or "x" or any of the keywords. Fascinating; watch some of this other stuff. He has one (that I didn't post) where he does a fake conversion experience with sworn atheists by evoking mood, feelings, etc ... fascinating and sort of creepy. It'll only be a matter of time before he'll (or someone like him) will be on a reality show here ...
