DAY 12

DAY 12 (or something) The tile is grouted and done. Looks beautiful. There is a toilet in a box in the hallway - just teasing us. I would assume it is a low flow, which means I will be clogging it daily. Last night our small group went over meditation (in Celebration of Discipline). The modern church has abandoned nearly all of the disciplines (or at least does not instill their importance or practice). How often have you heard about how to fast, how to meditate, how to be in solitude, simplicity or confession? The church seems to focus on prayer and service - those things which require quiet, calm, time - counter to our culture. I need to find a time to be in solitue and meditate.
