4 x 4 Meme

I've been tagged by my friend Lee on this fun little meme. I'd tag Luke, but he doesn't blog anymore, nor does Jim, so I'll tag Trent and Joshua. So, here goes my list:
4 Jobs I've Had
- House Drawer Unlike every other high school kid, I never had an "official" job, though I did make money; pretty good money. No, I didn't deal drugs; but I peddled drawings. I had deals with several local real estate firms and agents in the Overland Park area (of Kansas City) to draw recently sold houses, which agents would then give as gifts to the new homeowners. I made $150 a house, and could get a drawing in about 2 hours. Just simple pen and ink drawings, and I made all my friends jealous.
- Tech "Support" When we first got married, I was still in my senior year of college (part time student). It was 1996. I worked for a temp agency. One of the longer "gigs" I had was at an internet start up, PSINet. I answered the tech support phones, and followed this script and had a supervision looking over my shoulder making sure I never deviated. Calls mostly entailed people yelling at me about their experiences in 'Nam.
- Junior Designer Right out of college I got a job with Zender + Associates, who did (and do) some amazing work. Anything I learned about design, has its roots from Mike Zender -- a man was taught by Paul Rand, and taught the likes of Michael Beirut and instilled a deep respect for typography, simplicity, grids and . I worked here in Cincinnati for 3 months, then moved to Colorado Springs to help start a new office.
- Senior Senior Designer President Programmer Sales Chief So, somehow I managed to get from design studios and partnerships to "running" my own company (not entirely by my own volition), doing everything under the sun, and crawling along; and now finally feeling like I can be in control of it (rather than reactive).

- Pushing Daisies
- Intervention (depressing trainwreck that makes you feel 10000x better about your life) (there are a ton more, but just put some random ones in)
- Sadly, I've never been overseas or really outside "America", but we have no money, so that looks like its probably never going to happen.
- San Juan, Puerto Rico Quite a few times our family (before I was married) went down to Puerto Rico. Loved it.
- New York, New York Been to NYC too many times to count, only a 2 hour drive from my parents. NYC is my favorite city in the world
- Chicago, Illinois My sister went to college near Chicago, so whenever we'd go up for a visit, we'd rummage around the city. Deep dish pizza. Mmmm
- Branson, Missouri There is no victory in saying I've been to Branson, more like a confession. It was horrible. Its like a redneck version of a Japanese version of Disneyworld
- This is an impossible question, I listen to way too much music (all day) to narrow it down to 4, but alas ...
