No intelligence to be found here

Ben Stein (you know, former speech writer to President Nixon and famous one liner deliverer from Ferris Bueller's Day Off and cohort to Jimmy Kimmel on his own game show) has a new movie coming out called "Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed"; I doubt very (very very very) much that 1) you will hear much about this film; 2) if you do hear anything, that it will be "positive" about the film. I won't get (heavily) into what the film touches on, but basically its the extreme suppress of the "freedom of expression" commonly practiced within universities when it comes to the expression or even interest in any alternate scientific views on the origins of life.
The interview below is between Ben Stein and noted theologian and pastor (and a man I've read for years and years and years, whom I respect greatly and have supported financially for several years) R.C. Sproul. Watch, learn, debate!
(In this interview they mention the book "The Closing Of the American Mind" by Allan Bloom; perhaps one of the most forward thinking, frighteningly accurate books about American education and mixed morality. I highly recommend it.)

good stuff. I honestly never pinned Stein for being open to this vein of thinking.

I subscribe to RC's podcast and listened to this interview last week. It's a good interview and I'm interested to see the movie.
On a side note, RC's church was about 2 miles away from my house in Florida when I was working at Relevant. It was a great church to attend, I feel blessed to have seen him preach many times.

I knew about the church being in Florida, but had no idea it was that close to you. Good stuff. Even though we're in a bad financial state, I still want to figure out a way to go and see this (and support something that I think is far more worthy to debate than, say, global warming).
