Good vibrations (the one where I use too many parenthesis)

So last Friday morning (around 5:30am) we had ourselves a little earthquake (my first time experiencing one) in Ohio (no less). The epicenter was about 280 miles to the west of us in West Salem, Illinois (and woke me up). At first I though Sonya was shaking her leg (or the dog was having some insane running dream); but hearing the windows rattle made me think otherwise. It wasn't scary or intense; in fact there was less moving and shaking from the earthquake than when our washer is doing laundry. Supposedly "scientists" now worry that a larger quake might be on its way. Awesome (since we (in the mid-west as compared to any of you out in California) NEVER experience earthquakes: we wouldn't know what to do; I doubt our buildings are built to withstand even the slightest of quakes). If that scientifical fact comes true, I don't foresee good things (and that has me nervous). Thanks Science! To your health!

Paul... I agree... the quake was rather pleasant, something I could get used to. Maybe it could happen once a month with the testing of the tornado sirens...
