Distractions: I Look Just Like Buddy Holly Edition

Its been a crazy week -- missed several days of work, tried desperately to catch up and now just want a break -- how about you? Yeah, so let's just dive into some healthy (and unhealthy) distractions.

• Mezmerizing time lapse photo movie of Dan Hanna "Time of my Life"-- he took a picture of himself from 1991 to 2007 (1991! I was just graduating from high school and barely knew how to use a computer; that's not only great foresight and planning, but astute disciplined enough to take a picture of yourself everyday for 16 years).
• Time for a challenge! Take the The Face Memory Test -- where you look at a group of 12 faces, take a 5 minute break, then look at another group of 12 faces, then try to pick out the 24 faces you saw from a selection of 48 (and name which group you saw them in). Very tough (I managed to get 100% and 95%; which surprises me)
• Ask Calvin's Dad (as in Calvin and Hobbes, quite funny)
• If faces aren't your thing; maybe you'll do better with a website logo quiz! Take the How Observant Are You? quiz (I really stunk at this, 11 out of 27)
• Kanon Tipton is a young preacher - a VERY young preacher. In fact he's only 18 months old, but he doesn't let that stop him. I honestly can't tell if the crowd is indulging him (as in, aww, its cute he's pretending to preach) or they actually believe he's preaching, and "filled with the spirit"?
• Experience the world through the eyes (and ears) of a schizophrenic in The Sights and Sounds of Schizophrenia (the audio quality is horrible)
• "This man is an author. He writes stories. He just finished a story. He thinks many people will enjoy reading it. So he must have the story made into book ...". How to Make a Book (very complicated)

• I do wedding photography, so I know the value of selling your talent and this fellow shouldn't have much to worry about because he's amazing
• Genpets -- Bioengineered Buddies. Creepy, and (most likely) not real, but the possibility of something like that doesn't seem entirely impossible.
